Symphony in Bloom is Lily Donnelly’s first major work, created over 18 months in the joyful chaos of raising two toddlers. Layers of colour, movement and texture come together in a vivid hydrangea study inspired by New Zealand’s summer gardens. Every print is produced locally with archival materials to preserve the richness and depth of the original piece.

Stretched Canvas

A clean, modern canvas finish without the float frame. The artwork is printed on gallery-grade polycotton canvas, professionally stretched over sturdy FSC timber bars, and wrapped neatly around the edges for a seamless, contemporary look. It’s lightweight, durable, and offers the depth and texture of a canvas without the added framing detail.

Each stretched canvas is made to order. Please allow 2–3 weeks for production and delivery. Your artwork arrives ready to hang and carefully packaged for safe transport. Available in A3, A2, A1, A0 and B0.

About the Artist

Elizabeth Donnelly, known affectionately as Lilly, is a wife, mother, midwife and artist based in Aotearoa, New Zealand. Her journey as an artist unfolded naturally alongside motherhood—finding creative sanctuary in the joyful, unpredictable rhythm of family life.

Lilly’s work is grounded in a love of colour and movement. She paints intuitively, layering texture and tone to evoke emotion and story. Her abstract floral pieces explore themes of nurture, light and rebirth, reflecting the grace and growth she encounters daily in both art and life.

Her studio is a place where quiet meets colour, and where the ordinary moments of motherhood become extraordinary expressions of beauty and hope.
