Rosario Shores | House Two Reveal

Built by Sentinel Homes, this home forms part of the Rosario Shores development - three coastal townhouses designed with texture, warmth, and timeless detail.

House 2 leans into a deeper, moodier palette, with richer tones, layered materials, and considered contrasts that give the home a more grounded feel. Light still plays a central role, but here it’s balanced with depth and warmth, creating spaces that feel both refined and lived-in.

Exterior

House 2 combines painted brick with Abodo Vulcan Nexus timber, creating a strong architectural form with a distinctly coastal edge.

The lower level opens to a 19 m² Kwila deck, with a further 8.7 m² deck off the upper level. Both are left natural, allowing the timber to silver over time and settle naturally into the coastal environment. Glass balustrades with black powder-coated detailing provide a clean, understated finish that complements the home’s deeper, more grounded palette.

Living Spaces

Walls, ceilings, trims, and doors are finished in Resene Half Sea Fog, creating a soft, consistent backdrop throughout the home.

Rather than relying on contrast alone, House 2 introduces interest through texture and layering. A bedroom feature wall finished in Bold wallpaper (Pattern No. E395895) adds subtle pattern and depth without overpowering the space.

Underfoot, Quick-Step Impressive Classic Oak Beige (IM1847) flooring runs through the living areas, bringing warmth and durability. In the bedrooms, Loom Mundoi Granite loop pile wool carpet from Flooring Xtra adds softness and comfort where it matters most.

A Daikin ducted heat pump system, zoned for efficiency, supports year-round comfort across the upper level.

Kitchen + Laundry

Designed and built by KitchenMania, the kitchen is where House 2’s moodier design direction comes into its own. Melteca Shou Sugi Puregrain cabinetry anchors the space, bringing depth and texture, while Baikal Satin cabinetry in the scullery and laundry softens the overall palette.

Benchtops in Zealstone Aspen White keep the kitchen feeling light and refined, balanced by Zealstone Glacier White in the scullery and laundry. The combination creates contrast while maintaining cohesion across connected spaces.

Stainless steel gooseneck tapware supplied by Robertson is paired with a layered mix of brushed anthracite and brushed nickel handles from Stefano Orlati and Archant, adding subtle variation without visual clutter.

Splashback tiles sourced from Tile Depot introduce texture in a restrained way - Caramelia Bianco tiles laid horizontally in the kitchen, and Arenosa Beige tiles in a stepped layout through the laundry.

Bathrooms

Bathrooms in House 2 continue the theme of warmth and texture, balancing stone finishes with crisp white tiles and brushed nickel fittings throughout. All fixtures and fittings are supplied by Robertson, with tiles sourced from Tile Depot. All bathrooms include under-tile heating and heated towel rails, ensuring everyday comfort without compromising on design.

Bathroom 1

This space is calm and considered, with Caramelia Bianco wall tiles stacked vertically to emphasise height, paired with Travertition Beige Matt floor tiles. A travertine mosaic feature in the shower niche introduces detail without overwhelming the palette. A Pettine double vanity in Sabbia grounds the space, bringing warmth and a softer, tonal finish to a shared bathroom.

Bathroom 2

Bathroom 2 introduces a stronger design moment through scale. Large-format Charme Illusion tiles wrap the bath zone, creating visual weight and contrast, balanced by Blanco Brillo White wall tiles laid horizontally. A Pettine single vanity in Sabbia adds warmth and continuity, softening the bold tile choices.

Ensuite

The ensuite leans into a refined, hotel-inspired feel. Charme Illusion tiles form a striking feature within the shower, while Arenosa Ivory tiles introduce texture behind the vanity and through the shower niche. Travertition Beige Matt tiles run across the remaining walls and floors, tying the space back to the rest of the home. A double Pettine vanity in Sabbia completes the room, reinforcing the layered, tonal palette and sense of everyday luxury.
