Rosario Shores | Kitchen Tours

Rosario Shores is a modern coastal development made up of three homes and three distinctly different kitchen designs.

Rather than repeating a single kitchen across the project, each home was approached individually. Layout, light, outlook and day-to-day living all informed the design decisions, resulting in kitchens that feel cohesive as a collection, yet clearly their own.

All kitchens were designed and made by Kitchen Mania, with layouts and finishes customised to suit each home.

Why not?

Although Rosario Shores is one development, each home has a different relationship to space, light and living. Instead of duplicating a single kitchen design, we allowed each one to respond to its home while still working within a shared coastal language.

Consistency came from restraint rather than repetition. Materials, proportions and detailing were carefully balanced so the kitchens feel connected, without feeling the same.

House 1 leans into depth and contrast, with darker cabinetry and layered materials creating a moodier coastal expression. Black Birchply cabinetry brings texture and weight, balanced by softer Baikal Satin and the warmth of a Casablanca benchtop. A large architectural island anchors the space, while the L-shape is resolved through a concealed scullery, allowing the main kitchen to remain open and composed. Integrated elements and continuous bulkhead detailing reinforce a built-in, considered feel where material and proportion take precedence.

House 2 is calm and structured, with lighter cabinetry and a restrained material palette setting a refined coastal tone. Darker timber is used selectively and balanced with Baikal Satin and an Aspen White benchtop, creating a kitchen that feels composed and considered. A strong central island anchors the space, while the L-shape is resolved through a concealed scullery, keeping the main kitchen open and visually quiet. Integrated elements and discreet detailing allow form, proportion and material to take precedence.

House 3 is the lightest of the three kitchens, defined by softer timber tones and a relaxed, pared-back approach. Washed Timber Organic cabinetry introduces warmth without heaviness, paired with Malibu Satin for a calm, cohesive backdrop. The layout is linear and light-led, with a breakfast bar integrated into the island and the benchtop extending to the window to strengthen the connection to light and outlook. Concealed detailing and integrated elements allow the materials and simple forms to remain the focus.
