Kids Bedroom Room Reveal | Diamond in Richmond
Creating spaces for our little humans is always a treat - it’s a chance to create an environment for our kids to play, relax, make mess and sleep. Did I mention sleep… because they are so cute and behaved when they do that!
As I designed this room my objective was the make it memorable but still neutral, so if you removed all the furniture and decor it could be any sort of bedroom or home office. Yet it’s still packed with gorgeous features, the gold mini spots covering the walls, the texture of the loop pile wool, the soft full length drapes and the striking pendant.
With the furnishing I went with pieces my kids would love. We selected a bunk bed to make the most of the floor area. I gave their old play kitchen and wardrobe a new paint job to reflect with the pastel colour scheme and Caleb made custom made toy boxes for each of them. I added various decor to the walls to showcase the height of the ceiling and to add contrast to the stunning Hanami wallpaper.
